EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY,DON'T IT?

I have just been offered an exhibition space to show off some of the many music portraits I've taken over the last 30 years. Scanning through some of my old negs its become apparent that behind every image there is a story. Ive had the opportunity to shoot some amazingly talented musicians and every shot came about as the result of an interaction that has an ongoing resonance.

Afrika Baambaataa was great company, Malcolm McLaren was truly inspirational, despite his reputation as an arch manipulator,Kula Shaker,The Fugees,Oasis,Jamiroquai,John Lydon,The Spice Girls,all these encounters transcend the 125th of a second it took to record each shot. The challenge now is how to relate all that in an artists statement. Hmmm where an earth do I begin?
